Well-cooked, tasty food in an airy environment between Borough Market and Southwark Cathedral. A good balance between tradition and modernity. Attentive, professional service. My haddock, chips and mushy peas took me back to a past when good, traditional food was more easily available.

Lovely amazing staff. But ridiculously overpriced for food you can get in a pub. Was expecting to be blown away by the fish - it was bang average. The chips were scrappy. However the service is great and does elevate the experience. However to spend 25-30 on a small main dish - I'd expect much better and can get it elsewhere. Maybe a tourist trap these days?

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived (we hadn't made a reservation and the restaurant was quite busy on Sunday lunchtime) and shown to a table. Our orders were taken in good time with the waitress explaining some of the choices. The food was delicious as was the glass of house white we chose. A great first experience.

Today I visit the borough market and I have the best Take Away fish and chips I’ve ever try. Noelia was very friendly and polite at the same time. Amazing ❤️

Arrived early for my booking. Got shown to our table by a very friendly member of staff. Ordered wine which was very nice and arrived promptly. My partner ordered the Haddock and chips with mushy peas and I ordered the Grilled Swordfish which came with seasonal veg and I chose the herb and garlic butter sauce and a side of new potatoes. My partner loved her meal and mine was fantastic too. My partner ordered a liqueur coffee with Baileys. I ordered the Neals Yard cheese, biscuits, grapes and quince jelly. Both went down a treat. Will definitely be visiting again. All the staff were attentive and provided exceptional service.

trato nefasto, camareta antipática, comida sin sabor, no saben español, agua del grifo que te la cobran despues al igual que pagar por estar en la terraza cuando fue una obligación

Used to be a nice place to eat but the recent dinner there was terrible. Overpriced and poorly cooked. I would not recommend this venue.

Was here for some fish and chips at their takeaway kiosk. Had a terribly long queue, but was fast moving. They had a number of fishes to choose from. Ordered Hake and it was fresh and tasted good. Large portions. Service was quick.

10-20 years ago this was a very decent fish restaurant, with all manner of fish choice: now it's morphed into an expensive fish & chips diner, riding on past reputations. The fish and chips was OK, fish was fresh but at £30 for a portion (after service) for a standard fish/chips it wasn't brilliant and portions were stingy, just a handful of chips and a capful of mushy peas. Service was OK though, and it's always packed.

Lively atmosphere, efficient service but charged at 13.5% on the bill which is a lot . Good fish and chips well served but it should be for £22 for a fish supper . Packed out so they must be doing something right 👍

Unexpected place in Borough Market. If you want to sit down and eat some lovely fish & chips instead of eating something on your feet is your place.
